Caribbean Regional Training Programme

The Trinidad and Tobago Bureau of Standards successfully hosted the first Caribbean Regional Training Programme from 12th -30 th January 2004.

Opening Ceremony
The programme was launched with an opening ceremony on Monday 12 th January 2004 in the Auditorium of TTBS.

The feature address was given by Ms Edwina Leacock, Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Trade and Industry. Ms Leacock represented Mr Ken Valley, Minister of Trade and Industry.

Ms Rhone commended the efforts of TTBS in pioneering regional training in standardization and strengthening regional ties as we prepare to face the challenges of Globalization and other free trade agreements.
