The Human Resource Unit coordinates and manages the personal and career development of the Bureau’s employees. This is achieved through but not limited too strategic recruitment and selection, performance management, compensation management and training and development.
The Unit ensures that the company engages in professional and good human resource and industrial relations practices by monitoring work performance and etiquette. This is additionally achieved through the use of and the continued development of company policies and employee handbook. In conjunction with the union the Human Resources Unit makes use of its collective agreement for guidance in decision making within the organization.
