Role of the International/Regional Standards Co-ordinator

The International/Regional Standards Co-ordinator functions within the Standardization Division and acts as the liaison between TTBS and the international and regional standard bodies.

The key responsibilities of the International/Regional Standards Co-ordinator are:

  • Liaising with international and regional standard bodies on standardization matters
  • Circulating draft international standards to the relevant persons in industry for comment
  • Formal voting on proposed/draft international standards
  • Co-ordinating and documenting activities between international and regional standard bodies and TTBS

 Vote on an ISO Draft Standard
The Trinidad and Tobago Bureau of Standards serves on several ISO Technical Committees.
Industry stakeholders are invited to comment on ISO Draft Standards developed by these committees.
